接連下幾天豪大雨，台中市大里區十九甲地區部分區域水淹及膝，居民抱怨連連，市府相關單位昨天到現場會勘，發現是滯洪池前方的柵欄阻塞，才導致淹水，經協商後，決定由開發農村自辦重畫的建商負責移除柵欄。
昨天上午，積水情況已退去，但部分牆面、地上還留有痕跡，立仁里長鄭伯其說，梅雨鋒面過境，連續幾天出現間歇性豪雨，包括好萊一街、甲堤一街與二街附近積水，獲悉里民反應後曾到附近了解淹水原因，卻一直沒有結果。
經勘查，市府發現立新國中旁有座約500坪的滯洪池，研判應為農地重畫時設置，大雨時可蓄積洪水，之後再從池底排出，但因滯洪池蓄水量有限，且其前方設有方便清除垃圾的柵欄，推測可能因柵欄阻礙排水釀成水患，將要求建商拆除柵欄。
